Probably The Wrong Thing to Say

Am I the only one who is less surprised at the fact the MJ is dead than the fact that he actually lived to age 50?

I mean, yes, the man was a pop icon in his glory days, but that pretty much ended when he went koo-koo for cocoa puffs many many years ago.

My biggest fear is that with all the announcements of death and divorce this week, Entertainment Tonight may well go out of business within two months. Quick, some celebrity somewhere, do something ridiculous! (I said the same thing when Anna Nicole died, and somehow they survived that one...)

what's sad is that he was so sick and it appears nobody tried to help him. seriously, if someone i cared about was THAT sick, i would do everything i could to help him/her. but, no, people just wanna ride the money train. BUT i don't feel sorry for him. i'm not totally sure he didn't do something to those kids back in the early 90s. way too suspicious...BUT that is just my opinion.

And now Billy Mays.

Billy Mays surprised me. But I never imagined MJ would make it to old age the way he lived. It's not a matter of talent, just that he seemed to be one of those celebrities who was determined to die young.

I will be so glad when you can turn on the TV and hear about something other than MJ.

Well, I still LOVE MJ's music! I don't know what he did (if anything) and I have no right to judge because one sin is no worse than the other...and I know I've done some doozies. That's between him and God. I hate that he died. My kids are even sad. They love his "Thriller" album and videos. We've been jammin' to the "Beat it, Beat it"(as Dalton says) in my car for the last 3 weeks or more. I do agree with black betty...if he was so sick why wasn't anyone there for him??? It's crazy!
