Firsts - UPDATED

This was the first time I ever paid outright for a car. It was also the biggest single check I've ever written (although I made Greg write it, I just signed). **

This is the first non-Ford I've ever owned, thus also making it the first Toyota.

This is the first car Greg and I have ownded jointly.

This is the first 4 cylinder vehicle I've ever owned.

It's the first car I've purchased without my dad present.

It is NOT the first red car I've ever owned, as my 1988 Thunderbird was red.

It did make me a little sad to trade in the first car Greg picked me up in for a date, which was also the only car we'd ever taken to the beach. This year we'll be taking a new one.

However, we may have to take this one back. We realized when we got home last night that it didn't have a stick antenna. What am I going to do with my collection of antenna hats? And how will I ever find it in a parking lot without a hat???

** I lied. I didn't mean to, I just forgot. We wrote a bigger check for federal taxes last year, but that wasn't actually to buy anything. And there is currently some debate as to whether or not our house payoff counted, since we didn't actually write the check, we requested a bank check. So I dunno if those two count or not. It was still a honking big check.

I've had two Toyotas and have loved them both.

You can always use your alarm button to find your car!

Ooooh!!! Pretty!!!!

I am also a Toyota owner and I LOVE it. Toyotas are kind of like the Energizer bunny. They keep going and going and going and going.....

The sales guy was using the door unlocker beeps to find the right one on the lot last night! I'm hoping this one will last approximately forever. And my father has suggested we get one of those huge CB antennas and attach to the bumper for the hats. Hmmm.
