Here We Go Again...

Oh sigh.

The worst part about traveling is most definitely packing.
I've mentioned that before. Here. And here. And here.

Our flight leaves tomorrow. It's 9:50pm. I haven't packed the first thing. I still have to hit Walgreens and Walmart. It's gonna be a long night. I'm also hungry. Craving a big salty bag of potato chips. Maybe I can pick that up at Walmart.

They have Wal-Mart wherever you're going. Just skip it and buy new stuff.

Agrees with Dog. And besides mostly whatever you bring will be lost, disallowed by TSA, not fit in the overhead bin, or charged $15 bucks for...

Travel light. Buy there. Throw away before leaving.

Moo!

At the beginning of kindergarten, my daughter's teacher asked all the parents to pack a set of clothes for their children ... just in case. You should keep an extra set of clothes socked away in a bag somewhere so you can just grab it and go when you need to travel. May make the next trip a little easier. ;)

Oddly, I haven't seen a Walmart since leaving Mississippi. Closest I've found is a Rite Aid, where we bought sunglasses! Can't afford to buy clothes, or anything else, here. Things are crazy expensive. And Sandi, I don't own enough clothes to keep a set packed! We're going to work on that later this summer thought. Haven't bought hardly any clothes in two years, which, come to think of it, could be why I have trouble packing!

And finally, the weather (and the conference) is too crazy to pack lite. Chilly during the day, freezing at night. I'm in shorts and a long sleeve shirt right now, hoping to change into short sleeves in a couple of hours!
