I bought a half gallon of milk this week.
While making my bowl of cereal this morning I noticed that my milk expires on 11/15.
Tot will be here before my milk expires.
Oh my.

Crap - what kind of milk do you buy? That's 6 weeks from now!
Ha! I buy organic milk. It usually has a much longer expiration date and the generic brands aren't that much more expensive than regular. I'm the only one here that drinks it, and mostly I just use it in cereal and cooking, so I could never use up regular milk before it expires. I don't think I've ever had the organic expire on me. Although you have to wonder... You would think that organic milk would have fewer preservatives and thus expire faster. Not so. Lactose free milk tends to last longer as well.
Huh. You learn something new every day!
