Apparently it only snowed in my back yard. Not a flake in the front yard, nice dusting in the back. The pup didn't like it.
I managed to sleep through the actual activity, but about half an hour after we got up Greg happened to open a window and was like, "Look! Snow!" He has been wanting snow desperately. Freak.

Want to talk about a freak...let's talk my son.
It was coming down like crazy from about 8:00 - 8:45...and I couldn't even get him to turn his heard fromt he TV out the window to look at it. Much less go out and 'play' in it.
I told him he was the only kid in Mississippi unimpressed by the snow.
I'm impressed by it, I just see no reason to encourage it. Snow means cold, and I do not like being cold!
I hear you Susan. This is Mississippi, for crying out loud. We don't need temps in the 20s (or worse).
I liked it. Besides the fact that the kids loved it, it gives you a reason for the cold. There's cold and then there's "hey, at least there's snow."
There's a reason for the cold?
If I wanted to be cold I'd move north. My husband has lived everywhere from Texas to Germany, so he actually tolerates cold really well. I just don't understand.
